ABOUT THE ALBUM

“It all started in February 2013 when an idea came to my mind to combine, in one rhythm section, two musicians who had never played with each other before – Adam and Piotr – and confront them with my musical ideas. So, with curiosity but also with great anxiety, I invited them for a collective rehearsal. To my joy, from the first musical phrases we played, the room started buzzing with creative and artistic woek, new ideas and solutions were piling up and my compositions, completed with their talents, crystallized in new shapes and gained a fresh gleam. Juxtaposition of these two creative and talented people turned out to hit the bull’s eye. Today, more than a year from that moment, I can proudly say that apart from many concerts given in Poland, our collaboration resulted in recording of this CD, through which we invite you to accept a dose of positive energy which, as we hope, is hidden in our music.”

WHAT OTHERS
HAVE TO SAY

After recording his solo album Michał Ciesielski starts his collaboration in a trio and together with Piotr Gierszewski on bass guitar and Adam Golicki on drums creates some noteworthy music. Seriously. It’s worth to become familiar with this CD.

Marta Jundziłł, Jazzarium

In this CD musicians show us the modern aproach to the timeless, jazz formula.

Adam Baruch - www.adambaruch.com

In short this is a nice debut, which is pleasant to listen to and sounds good, a set of qualities that satisfy most contemporary listeners.

Marta Ratajczak - babskimuchem.blox.pl

Wonderful Debut!

Mariusz Bogdanowicz, Jazz Forum

Sometimes you can get the impression, that this is illustrative, film music, of course it’s not an objection, but an advantage (…) A new brilliant band and a great composer appeared on the Polish stage.
